ABOUT THE RIVER PAGES
The River Pages is for those who are aspiring authors in need of guidance. Offering manuscript evaluation and book coaching to prepare them for the publishing process. The name, The River Pages, is a nod to nature as a source of inspiration. Many ideas are explored while wandering the river trails and she hopes to offer the same creative freedom for her clients as they cultivate their craft.
The serif typeface used for The River Pages logo was selected for its strong resemblance to those found inside many literary works. The script font that pairs with it is a pleasant contrast. This typeface is easy to read—not often the case for a script font—and resembles the handwriting of a writer exploring an idea on a page.
Similarly, its small role in the logo design acts like a familiar note in the margins to a writer from their editor.
Inspired by nature, it was important that the brand colour palette be too. Each of the brand colours were carefully selected for their close connection to the forests and trails of Canada.
But these colours all needed to work together to ensure the brand palette functioned well together while offering that calm, inspired feeling that is found in nature.
Jenny makes it look easy—she guides her client through a collaborative and inspiring approach to brand creation. But it is her unique, organized, and client-focused method that allows the process to flow so smoothly and the brand to be delivered so seamlessly.
It takes a highly skilled designer, artist, and business expert to make the experience so smooth and simple for the client. Jenny is intuitive, friendly, organized, reliable, and highly-skilled at what she does. I am absolutely thrilled with my beautiful new brand, which she seems to have pulled right out of my heart.
